A public lecture entitled “Preventing Colon Cancer in 2007: What Can You Do?” was delivered by Professor David Lieberman, Wei Lun Visiting Professor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology of Oregon Health Sciences University, USA on September 17, 2007 in the Shaw Auditorium, PWH. Professor Lieberman is internationally recognized as an expert on colon cancer screening. The talk which focused on identification of risk factors and screening for colon cancer provided an insightful understanding of this malignancy and helped improve public awareness of this disease. The lecture was proudly hosted by The Chinese University of Hong Kong in association of the Institute of Digestive Disease.
